Chatty Hands is a social group for deaf people and people who sign. Its a place where you can chill out, grab a coffee and mix with other like-minded people.
Its a chance for people learning BSL to practice, gain confidence and maybe learn more signs!
The group is child and family friendly, we welcome children of all ages with open arms. There will even be a few toys, table games and colouring.
There is no charge for the group, it is in a cafe setting so there are hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks available to purchase.
The group is based at The Transition Chelmsford which is a 30 second walk from Chelmsford Train Station, the Bus station or High Chelmer multi storey car park.
The Transition is a warm, comfortable place and its open just for us!
My name is Jess, I am organising the group. I am currently learning BSL level 2 and I am so thrilled Andy at The Transition is accommodating us.
